Arrive Nairobi where you are met and transferred
to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a special welcome
dinner at the Ibis Grill. Overnight: Norfolk

Day 2 Nairobi-Aberdares (BLD)
Drive to the Aberdare Mountain Range and your
night in a tree hotel. This evening, watch for
animals as they come to the floodlit waterhole
to drink water. Overnight: Serena Mountain Lodge
Day 3 Aberdares-Meru (BLD)
Drive to Meru National Park, arriving in time
for lunch. Meru National Park is a luxuriant
forest area, supported by the permanent streams
originating in nearby Mt. Kenya. This afternoon,
game view in the park. Overnight: Elsa's Kopje
Lodge.
Elsa's KopjeDay 4 Meru (BLD)
Morning and afternoon game drives are included
today. Buffalo, giraffe, eland and oryx are
common in the park. This area is most famous for
being Joy and George Adamson's base for raising
Elsa, their famous loin. Overnight: Elsa's Kopje
Lodge.
Day 5 Meru-Lewa Downs (BLD)
Drive to Lewa Downs one of Kenya's oldest
family ranches. Spend the afternoon relaxing on
your private verandah. Tonight a night game
drive, possible because the ranch is private
property. Overnight: Wilderness Trails.
Day 6 Lewa Downs (BLD)
A full day at Lewa Downs includes game viewing,
walks or just relaxing poolside. A side original
owners of the ranch. Overnight: Wilderness
Trails.
Day 7 Lewa Downs - Naivasha (BLD)
Drive into the Great Rift Valley today, and your
private home on the banks of Lake Naivasha. This
afternoon, why not take a trip on the lake?
Overnight: Loldia House.
Day 8 Naivasha Nairobi-Maasai Mara (BLD)
Drive to Nairobi and enjoy lunch at the Delamere
Restaurant. Take the afternoon scheduled light
aircraft flight to the Maasai Mara and your
tented camp. Overnight: Governors Camp.
Day 9 Maasai Mara (BLD)
A full day in Kenya's most famous reserve allows
time for both morning and afternoon game drives.
Bird life is prolific in the Mara and all of
the big cats are present. Overnight: Governors
Camp
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and
abundance that it is difficult to believe: over
450 species of animals have been recorded here.
You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos,
crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras,
buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs,
buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and
elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the
most spectacular event of the natural world
takes place. This is the annual migration of
millions of wildebeest and zebra from the
Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and
pasture. Following on their heels are the
predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild
dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
Day 10 Maasai Mara-Nairobi (B)
After a final game drive this morning, return by
light aircraft to Nairobi where day rooms are
available until 6 PM. Day Room: Norfolk Hotel
