Pick up from your hotel at 0730hrs.Safari
Briefing and passing the majestic Mt. Kenya en
route to the open savannah of Samburu Game
Reserve arriving in good time for lunch at
campsite,Late afternoon game drive.Dinner and
overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge
Day 2: Samburu Game reserve
Full day in Samburu with picnic lunch.optional
visit to Samburu villages
Samburu Game Reserve has Several species are
considered unique to the region, including its
unique dry-country animal life: All three big
cats, lion, cheetah and leopard, can be found
here, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos
and Ewaso Ng'iro river contains large numbers of
Nile crocodile. Other mammals frequently seen in
the park include gerenuk, warthogs, Grant's
gazelle, Kirk's dik-dik, impala, waterbuck,
Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx and reticulated
giraffe,ver 350 species of bird. These include
Somali ostrich, grey-headed kingfisher,
sunbirds, bee-eaters, marabou stork, tawny
eagle, bateleur, vulturine guineafowl,yellow
throated spurfowl, lilac-breasted roller, palm
nut vulture, red-billed hornbill, secretary
bird, Verreaux's eagle, superb starling,
yellow-billed hornbill and vultures. Dinner and
overnight at the Samburu Sopa Lodge
Day 3: Samburu-Nairobi
Pre-breakfast game drive, after breakfast depart
for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon with lunch
enroute arriving Nairobi Early Evening drop your
Hotel.
